It would be oh so unfair for me to choose a favorite insect. It's like asking which child of yours you prefer! Oh the calamity!

.....but if I had to choose, it would be the praying mantis :3

I've always loved their super stylish designs, and even kept one when I was young and living in the USA, for a few months! Sadly, there are way less occasions for me to find mantids where I live now in France. (last one I saw was in Italy three years ago) (oh wait no, actually it was in Montréal last year when I went to the amazing Insect Museum!!)

Come back Thursday for one last doodle update, where I'll give you the exact date of the comic's return! (I really need a break from the comic to work on other things, and work on the next chapter script, which I'm very excited about :>)
