Those little biscuits are called "Tuiles aux amandes" (which translates to "tiles of almonds" but maybe there's another name for them?) in French and my grandma used to make them all the time and they were so good <3

EDIT (22nd of August): the halftones applied were indeed too hard on the eyes, my apologies! I'm still discovering this new thing and I've lowered the opacity to make it softer. I might reconsider this decision to make everything halftones, or just soften it all, will think it over! Thanks for the patience ;)
